School SecretaryThe School Secretary provides administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the school office. This role serves as a primary point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors while maintaining confidential records, coordinating communications, and supporting daily school activities.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other communications.Maintain student records, attendance data, and confidential files.Prepare correspondence, reports, newsletters, and school documents.Schedule appointments, meetings, and school events.Assist with student enrollment, registration, and withdrawal procedures.Process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.Support payroll, purchase orders, and basic bookkeeping tasks as assigned.Monitor office supplies and place orders when needed.Coordinate substitute teacher requests and staff absences.Maintain calendars for administrators and school activities.Ensure compliance with school policies, district procedures, and confidentiality requirements.Provide first aid assistance or contact appropriate personnel during student emergencies when necessary.
