Industrial EngineerOur plant in Tomahawk, WI manufactures, finishes and ships composite and plastic parts to our final assembly plants. Join us as a Industrial Engineer.Job Summary:Works with stakeholders in plant operations to ensure facility efficiency and workplace safety. Demonstrates knowledge of basic industrial engineering concepts, practices and procedures including capacity planning, ergonomics analysis, method development, work standardization and material flow analysis.Job Responsibilities:Identify the level of human and capital assets required for given schedules and product mixes while maximizing workflow and floor space utilization.Own plant capacity model and updates as required.Demonstrate willingness to accomplish tasks through actively engaging work group members in identifying and resolving issues using the H-D Continuous Improvement System and projects.Find ways to continuously improve processes and responsibilities pertaining to the position.Prepare process documentation which conforms to Quality System standards.Serve as support resource for pack rotation group including sampling new packaging, standardized work, and SAP part setup.Participate in design of in plant parts racking.Education Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent RequiredExperience Requirements:Internship or Co-op experience in a manufacturing operations preferredFamiliar with MTM-based standard data and systems, capacity planning and manpower planning.Knowledge of PC applications such as AutoCAD and Microsoft OfficeThe pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
